Program Internship


Position Overview

The Renewable Natural Resources Foundation (RNRF) seeks an intern to work with its staff to assist in the development and implementation of programs in conservation and natural resources policy. This position is an exciting opportunity for a student or recent graduate who wishes to work on current national conservation science and policy issues.

Responsibilities

RNRF’s program intern will assist the Program Director in program-related activities including:
•    Development of RNRF’s 2014 national congress
•    Writing and editing news items for RNRF’s website
•    Production of the Renewable Resources Journal including researching article ideas and editing
•    Planning RNRF’s Washington Round Table on Public Policy

Qualifications

Interested candidates must have an interest in natural resources, sustainability, and public policy. Computer proficiency is a must. The ideal intern has strong writing skills, pays excellent attention to detail, and is self-motivated and enthusiastic.

Compensation

This internship pays $8.00/ hour.
