After crossing the American Legion Bridge on Beltway 495 North move over to one of the two right lanes after passing the River Road (#39) exit.  Stay on 495 when Interstate 270 splits to the left.

Remain in the right lane of 495, taking the next exit at Old Georgetown Road (#36).

At the bottom of the ramp turn left at the light onto Old Georgetown Road and pass through two more traffic lights.

Cheshire Drive is at the third light (you will see St. Luke’s Episcopal Church on the right just before the light).

Turn right on Cheshire, go a short block, and turn right onto Grosvenor Lane. After 0.8 mile, turn right at the Renewable Natural Resources Center sign.
 

Directions to Renewable Natural Resources Center By Automobile From Baltimore on Outer Loop of Beltway (495)

Take exit #34 to Wisconsin Avenue/Route 355, staying in the extreme right lane and taking the auxiliary road at the sign Grosvenor Lane and then swing up to the left in the outside lane to cross Wisconsin Avenue on Grosvenor Lane instead of making the standard right-angle turn to go left onto Grosvenor Lane (illegal).

Proceed through the light and up the hill, over the 270 overpass, turning left as soon as possible at the Renewable Natural Resources Center sign.
 

Directions to Renewable Natural Resources Center By Metro

Take the Red line to the Grosvenor Metro station.

Exit the Metro and take the stairs on the right leading down to a tunnel under Rockville Pike (Wisconsin Avenue extended) (Rt. 355).

Upon exiting the tunnel, turn left on the road in front of you running parallel to Rockville Pike, turning right at the top of the hill, and leading immediately to Grosvenor Lane on the left.

Turn right on Grosvenor Lane over the overpass for 270 and left at the Renewable Natural Resources Center sign.  It’s about a ten minute walk—one mile.
 

Directions to Renewable Natural Resources Center from I-270

Traveling south on I-270 and after passing the Montrose exit, stay in the 3rd lane from the left so you will go toward Washington at the split (right lanes go to Virginia). Remain in this lane (marked exit only) and take the next exit to Old Georgetown Road.

Turn right on Old Georgetown Road, move to the left lane to prepare to make a left turn at the 3rd light onto Cheshire Drive, go a short block, and turn right onto Grosvenor Lane. After 0.8 mile, turn right at the Renewable Natural Resources Center sign.
